“Great food but noisy”, was a common complaint by the patrons of the Fig and Olive restaurant in Howick. To treat the problem the owners called in Asona, a specialist in acoustical ceiling and wall panels.
The solution was to direct fix 10 large 3000 x 1200 x 50 mm Triton 50 high sound absorbing panels to the underside of the plasterboard ceiling lining and between the lights.
The panels were supported on matching finish tissue faced Teetanium grid with C channel perimeter to create a monolithic finish.
Customer feedback is that they can now enjoy the food and good conversation without the reverberant noise, what’s more the sound system performs better!
