    The architects Warren & Mahoney selected Asona’s MetaPan large module acoustic metal ceiling system for the exposed ceiling areas and kitchens of the MIT Manukau Campus building. The MetaPans were custom made from white powder-coated and perforated aluminium with a 100 mm deep negative reveal to each of the pans, so as to fit neatly into the complex building structure and work in with the exposed utitilities, but at the same time leave a strong, clean aesthetic appearance.  Acoustic control was achieved by filling the deep pans with a 50 mm high density glass fibre core faced with a black Sonatex facing.
