    Hobsonville Point Primary & Secondary schools are the first public-private partnership (PPP) schools in NZ. The consortium LIP which includes ASC Architects and Hawkins Construction selected Asona’s acoustic wall and ceiling systems because Asona could customise a solution to maximise thenatural light of the buildings whilst providing fire safe, low VOC, high acoustic performance products with 80% recycled content combined with a recycle and renew programme for long term sustainability. The gymnasium ceiling continues the customised plank theme used in the ceilings with Triton Sports 40 (2400 x 600) impact resistant ceiling panels on a T38 wide faced grid with Triton 40 (2400 x 300) panels in wood grain Sonatex between the lighting fixtures. The gymnasium walls have Triton Sports 40 to the upper half and Asona Sonawood perforated poplar ply to the lower half of the walls.  Architects: LIP Consortium.
