PPP School Gymnasiums

Ormiston Junior College, Haeata Community College, Rolleston College and Hobsonville Point Secondary School are NZ's newest PPP (Public-Private Partnership) high schools. Designed by architects, Andrew Scott Cotton (ASC) the stunning facilities meet the needs of teaching and learning for the 21st century. Asona’s Triton 40 Sports™ ceiling panel was the obvious choice to use in the school gymnasiums because Triton 40 Sports™ is a high impact resistant glass fibre acoustical ceiling panel with reinforced woven glass fabric facing. The panel is designed to provide high sound absorption in areas subject to impact, knocks and bumps and sits in its own proprietary grid system complete with unique hold-down panel clips. Triton 40 Sports™ was installed in all the schools with each gym having a unique variation such as adding in random coloured panels to break up the uniformity to inlaying wood-grain Sonatex™ faced panels between the lighting strips to add design interest.
