Lane Neave Building, CHCH

In the newly built Lane Neave building, CHCH, architects Jasmax cleverly used the Triton 40 Sports™ system for the walls of the atrium, firstly to control the reverberation in this open space which contains an open staircase and for the durability & texture of the woven glass fabric facing which complimented the exposed textured concrete walls. For further embellishment a living wall of vines was installed to grow over the top of the panels. Anchor points were drilled through the framing grid to support the suspension wires for the vines to cling too, another reason why the Triton 40 Sports™ system was used as the panels have a glass fibre core and a woven glass fabric facing making the panels resistant to mould & corrosion. Atkar Au diLux, painted black was supplied by Asona for the underside of the stairwell to control the reverberation from the foot-traffic.
