    Competenz Ltd, one of NZ’s leading industry training organisations specified Asona Triton Duo 60™ composite high sound absorbing/ high sound attenuating ceiling panels for their new office fit-out on the top floor of 277 Broadway, Newmarket. The brief was to control rain noise from under the metal roof and to maximise sound absorption to reduce reverberation times in this busy open plan office. The composite Triton Duo 60 (1200 x 600 x 60 mm) panels are made from a 50 mm glass fibre core plus a 10 mm gypsum mass backing and finished with a mat white 2 ply Sonatex™ glass mat acoustic facing to give an NRC 0.95 and STC 22dB.
